I am signing up for high school classes tomorrow and want to know what kind of classes I should take if i want to major in business in college. Also what would be the best classes to take in general if I want to be accepted to stanford.

  1. Smart teenager says:

Business and Finance should be an option. Why don’t you ask your teacher?

  2. Livy says:

If you’re planning on taking 2 foriegn languages, DON’T take them both at once. Make sure you’re in at least your 3rd year of one language before adding another. Example…
    Freshman year–French 1
    Sophomore year–French 2
    Junior year–French 3 and Spanish 1
Senior year–AP French and Spanish 2

Think about the kind of business in which you’ll be working. Ask yourself things like: will you be working with a lot of Hispanic people? Maybe it would be best for you to take Spanish.

    Freshman year, seven classes…
    French/Spanish/German/Italian/Chinese/Russian/Japanese (pretty much any language)
    AP World History
    AP Biology
    Honors Geometry or Honors Algebra
    Honors English 9
An art class, band, or choir
Accounting 1 or another business-based class

    Sophomore year…
    a foreign language class
Honors Geometry or Honors Algebra 2
    Honors English
    AP US History
    Honors Chemistry or AP Chemistry
Accounting 2 or another buisness class
Health (semester class) and Gym (semester class)
